As outside funding sources have dwindled and volunteer numbers have slowly declined, Mission on the Bay and Camp Victor Ministries have had to make strategic adjustments. We have crunched numbers and looked at every possible way to continue our mission. Unfortunately, the day has arrived that our camps can no longer generate enough funds to sustain everyday expenses. As difficult as these closings are, we will need your help to plan the next steps of our journey in mission and ministry, even though those steps lead us toward an end to this season.
We hope to have a "close-out construction crew" to be utilized to honor our commitments and complete our unfinished projects. We have set a goal of raising $35,000 for each camp (totally $70K), which will cover these construction costs through December. This is where you come in. With your donations we can continue our recovery efforts through the fall and leave knowing that our current clients are now in homes.
If each volunteer that has passed through our doors this past year donated $5 we would have roughly $80,000. We know we can achieve our goal because of our loyal volunteers. Please know that all of your efforts to help are welcomed and appreciated.
